Automating HR flow from Mobilic to Silae

The story begins in 1973. A first market is opening up to the company through the delivery of reference magazines in the region.

Quickly becoming a well-recognized player for the quality of its service and its responsiveness, Transports P.Fontaine grew rapidly in the 2000s. Romain Fontaine, then the son of the manager, became involved in the company on an operational role. This allows him to quickly understand the new challenges and in particular to take an effective turn on the e-commerce wave.

Since then, they have been reference providers such as Chronopost, DHL, GLS or even Colis Privé who use the services of the company.

Today there are more than 2 million of packages processed each year by Transports P.Fontaine with a higher percentage of points delivered than the competition.

Until then, HR teams manually entered drivers' working hours in Mobilic (mandatory application in the transport sector in France), then were re-entering the same data within Skello only to generate a file in CSV format to be sent to their payroll provider on Silae software.

This process was:

  • time consuming,
  • redundant,
  • source of errors.

The request was therefore to create an automated flow directly between Mobilic and Silae.

Result

We have set up a full automation of the Mobilic → Payroll flow, by removing the intermediate stage by Skello.

Our technology now allows to:

  • connect directly to the Mobilic API,
  • extract automatically key data (standard hours, overtime, travel costs, etc.),
  • generate a structured CSV file, adapted to Silae's requirements,
  • send this data directly to payroll, without manual intervention.

The entire process was automated in a few days, with no interruption in HR management.
