The starting point: a time-consuming and error-prone double entry
Like many companies in the sector, our client used:
- Mobilic, the official application imposed by regulations in France to track drivers' working hours,
- then Skello, a planning tool (used here only to generate a CSV file for payroll), that is then an input into Silae.
Problem : the same data was filled twice, in two separate tools, manually and without any added value.
The result being:
- a significant loss of time for HR teams,
- a risks of input errors,
- and an unnecessarily complex process, based on a non-essential intermediate tool.
Our intervention: automating the entire flow, from Mobilic to Silae
Our aim: remove double entries and streamline the HR chain, without disrupting existing legal obligations.
Setting up:
- Direct connection to the Mobilic API, to automatically collect data declared by drivers (working hours, breaks, packed lunches, etc.)
- Treatment and structuring of this data for make it usable in payroll process
- Automated generation of a CSV file in accordance with the format expected by the software Silae
- Direct transmission to payroll, without going through Skello or any manual intervention
The whole process has been deployed in a few days, with an immediate impact on productivity and costs.
